Attachment Informed Collaborative Process

May 23 | Streaming Online

Attachment is a special emotional bond that grows out of our earliest relationship with a primary caregiver and carries with us into our emotionally committed relationships in adulthood.  As a result of a relationship breakdown, a person's attachment system can be activated, thereby making them feel vulnerable.

Our presenter, Yuval Berger, is an experienced Collaborative Family Professional in B.C. and a former Board Member of CP Canada.  This 1 and 1/2 hour PD will provide participants with an understanding of how attachment theory can be used to predict and explain couples's behaviour during separation.  In addition, it will focus on how this theory can be applied to better plan your collaborative file; adjusting the level of support, the pace, as well as how to deal with potential challenges that may arise.
